Here’s this week’s report:
- River North released Whiskey-Aged Quandary Quadrupel at the brewery last week, but it should hit stores this week. Numbered bottles. Their barrel releases have been fantastic so far.
- Look in the comments too folks, people post good nuggets of info down there too, like Stephen who says, “Bourbon Barrel Aged Angel’s Share and Mo Betta Bretta are hittin’ the streets, as well.” Also, BrewDog Dogma, Hardcore IPA and Punk IPA are in town! Moooaaaarrrr!!!!
- Regarding the next two beers…well, let’s just say they never transpired this week. But there’s always next week!
- Avery’s Oud Floris should be hitting shelves this week. *Should*.
- Russian River/Sierra Nevada Brux, a “domesticated” wild ale, should hit us soon. It’s being distributed by Sierra Nevada, so we should see it. We might, *MIGHT*, see it this week…sources are indicating as such.
- Firestone Walker Double DBA was released on July 15th. This is a new brew from FW and is basically their DBA x 2. It will be distributed to Denver, so look for it after July 15. Expect a shit show of people trying to get this one, just like all the FW releases. (UPDATE: FW is saying late July now…so we will either see it late July or early August? One source says it will make the rounds in the next 2 weeks, so hopefully this week or next week. Another closer-to-home Denver source says we might see it next week…keep thy fingers crosseth’d!)
- Elevation Beer Company Signal de Botrange Farmhouse Ale Aged in Chardonnay Wine Barrels is coming soon. They bottled it July 15, so it should hit soon.
- Stone’s 16th Anniversary Ale, a 10% ABV double IPA, will be released on August 13th. Look for it in Denver after that.

Look for more updates throughout the week (if there are any more to report). Please share any Denver area beer release news you might have with me either in the comments or on Twitter @ssteigerwald.
